Devon Larratt FAQ
Is Devon Larratt the best armwrestler?
For years, most of the sport considered him exactly that. He held the Legacy Hammer — armwrestling's informal marker for the best pound-for-pound competitor — until Levan Saginashvili beat him 6–0 to take it at King of the Table 4 in June 2022. He remains one of the most decorated and recognizable names in the sport even without the title.

How many armwrestling titles has Devon Larratt won?
Several across competing federations rather than one tidy number: left-hand belts with the UAL, MLA, and PAL between 2012 and 2013, both WAL heavyweight titles — left and right — by 2016, and the inaugural King of the Table title in 2021.
Why is Devon Larratt so good at armwrestling?
Hand-fighting and grip technique more than raw size — setting up favorable wrist and elbow leverage before a pull even starts. That skill set is a big part of why he's held titles on both arms, not just his dominant side.

He came up through Ontario provincial tournaments in the late 1990s, winning the title in 1999 and defending it through 2003.
Does Devon Larratt armwrestle left-handed or right-handed?
Both. He's one of relatively few elite armwrestlers to hold titles on each arm, taking both WAL heavyweight titles — left and right — by 2016.
